Sealed bids will be received by the County Commission of Mobile County, Alabama, in the Mobile Government Plaza, Eighth Floor South Tower, Mobile, Alabama, until 10:00 A.M. on MAY 24, 2017, and then publicly opened for furnishing all labor and materials, and performing all work required by Mobile County and described as follows:

SIX HUNDRED TWENTY (620) working days are allowed for the construction of the project.
Specifications are on file and may be viewed in the Mobile County, Alabama, Engineering Department, or in the office of MOTT MACDONALD, 153 WEST I-65 SERVICE ROAD NORTH, MOBILE, AL 36608. Specifications may be obtained by prime contractor bidders by depositing ONE HUNDRED FIFTY AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($150.00) with the Project Engineer for each HALF-SIZE set and THREE HUNDRED FIFTY AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($350.00) with the Project Engineer for each FULL-SIZE set. This deposit shall be refunded in full upon return of the documents in reusable condition within ten (10) days after bid opening. The cost of and return of additional sets of specifications shall be in accord with Section 39-2-3(b), Code of Alabama (1975). No Specifications will be issued later than twenty‑four (24) hours prior to the time indicated above for receiving bids.
A pre-bid conference will be held on MAY 17, 2017 at 10:30 A.M., in the Mobile County, Alabama Engineering Department, Mobile Government Plaza, Sixth Floor South Tower, Mobile, Alabama. All prospective bidders should have a representative present at the pre-bid conference.
