Committee structure is an important and critical part of our Association.
You are encouraged to participate in our various local committees. Meetings
are usually minimal and held during the lunch hour. Please fill out the attached

Education:
To promote interest in and implementation of programs for construction education at all levels. To help suggest topics of interest for the industry for Lunch & Learn or Breakfast Meetings. To help market and advertise the promotion of educational programs.
Help identify and recruit volunteer instructors. Assist in developing curriculum and training concepts.
Insurance:
To provide a forum for discussion of insurance matters within the AGC and in conjunction with representatives of the insurance industry.
Membership:
To review member benefits and promote the values of membership to non-member firms and actively increase membership.
Governmental Affairs Committee
To review and monitor the legislative activities locally that affect our industry. Help promote industry objectives.
Meet with local officials when needed.
Safety:
To advance safety and health in the construction industry through liaison with OSHA and other regulatory agencies.
To provide information to members on current safety issues. To develop and implement safety courses and educational
seminars that are relevant to our area.
Workforce Development:
To promote interest in and enhancement of the image of the construction industry and the recruitment and education of a skilled workforce.
Special Events Committees:
To help plan and volunteer for events.
