Construction Committed to Safe Work Practices to Help Flatten the Curve during COVID19 Pandemic

Nationwide AGC is seeing an increasing number of people question why construction projects are still being allowed to proceed in many parts of the country where other businesses have been ordered closed. Many, for example, question whether contractors are doing enough to protect their workers, and the broader public, from the spread of coronavirus. To that end, attached are a series of social media posts we created with safety tips for firms designed to protect them from the coronavirus – based on guidance from OSHA and CDC. The images are sized for each social media platform you may be using for your organization or company. Along with each safety tip image, please consider using the following hashtags in your posts: #safety #constructionsafety #safetyfirst #staysafe

AGC  encourages all members to obey all OSHA and CDC guidelines during this challenging time.  Please share images and videos of the steps you are taking to protect your workers utilizing  the new coronavirus safety measures in place on jobsites so we can post via our  social media channels. The more content highlighting the industry’s commitment to safety we can put out, the more that will encourage other firms to follow suit, and remind people, including elected officials, that our industry is doing its part to flatten the curve.  Please email Charlotte Kopf your photos or videos:  charlotte@agcmobile.org
