Instructors Needed for Construction Industry Training Classes at Bishop

Bishop State Workforce Development has several positions open for  upcoming and current training programs that are needed on a part-time, temporary basis.   Bishop is reaching out to our industry to help find qualified instructors.     The following positions are needed:

Positions in Most Need:

Training for Business & Industry (TFBI) –

National Center for Construction Education & Research (NCCER) Core Trainer – Needed on Tuesdays & Thursdays Beginning on Oct 3, 2017 from 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Welding Instructor –  Needed on Tuesdays & Thursdays Beginning on Oct 3, 2017 from 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM·

Other Positions Needed at a Later Time:

Training for Business & Industry (TFBI) – Hours and Days Vary Based on Program Need

Soft Skills Instructor ·

Industry Credential Instructor ·

Carpentry Instructor ·

Masonry Instructor ·

Roofing Instructor ·

Millwright/Mechanic/Machinist Instructor ·

Residential Interior Finishing Instructor ·

CDL Driver Instructor- Class A or Class B ·

Electrical & Instrumentation Instructor ·

 

Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent. Industry certification with applicable credentials or licensing is required. Five (5) years of experience in a high demand or specialized training area is required. Associate degree from a regionally accredited institution is preferred.
