During the regular meeting on Monday May 9, 2022 the Mobile County Commission (MCC) approved allowing verbiage to be included in MCC Public Works contracts for road improvement projects, bridge improvement projects and other related Public Works projects, pertaining to the Sales and Use Tax Exemptions. Bidders on Mobile County Public Works projects will be required to include the applicable Sales and Use Tax exemptions in their bid prices for construction materials that become a part of the project. The noted Sales and Use Tax Exemptions will be in accord with Act 2021-372 and will be effective as of May 9, 2022.
