Baldwin County’s Choose2Coalition in support of the Beach Express Extension officially launched last week with strong media coverage secured from across the region.
Earlier this week, AL.com also published an opinion piece from Baldwin County Sheriff Hoss Mack highlighting Local Amendment 2 and how this proposed amendment is a step in the right direction for Baldwin County as it will enhance public safety measures by creating an additional hurricane evacuation route.
With less than one month until election day, we need more Baldwin County voters educated on the importance of local Amendment 2 if we want to ensure it passes. Right now, there is an awareness gap about this ballot initiative, and we need your help spreading the word.
There is a lot of misinformation out there about the funding of this road. Baldwin County taxpayer dollars will not fund the building of this new road. The Baldwin Beach Express extension will be 100% paid for by those who use the road, allowing voluntary users to free up scarce state and local dollars for other critical Baldwin County transportation projects. Please consider sharing this video highlighting the facts on your social media channels.
